With a passion for design and print since a young age, when I could start using a computer, I’ve been designing things. At a young age, I’ve always liked logos and traffic signs. This and many other reasons have made me want to pursue a greater understanding in print and digital graphic design, having made big strides in education and experience in the past five years.
My tool of choice is Illustrator and have been using it for a long time. My favourite things to produce are logos, branding designs, print advertising and
packaging labels. I have a large liking for branding and logos from Bauhaus, Paul Rand, Saul Bass and Chermayeff & Geismar & Haviv. These designers have influenced my style.
The logo for yours truly. Based on my signature, the logo represents the individuality of my personality and my style. The single colour represents my unique style, one that is my own. The font is original, spaced closer together than previous iterations. The logo is suitable for online social media and the colour can be changed to accommodate other factions of Stuart H.
A logo and branding mission for Hedges EWM, a natural management company, I created the logo and prospective website design for the business. The logo uses negative space to create some letters of the business name, making a commonly used verbal acronym part of the logo design. The font is bold and legible in small uses. The logo can be used in print, letterheads, signage and vehicle stickers.
